A polluted air may contain traces of copper, carbon, nitrogen, sulphur and various other harmful gasses that air pollution control system controls as well as prevents. The smoke emanated in the outer area of the factory via chimney is refined through the air pollution control system (wet type). There are big scrubbers installed in the plant that restricts the harmful gasses and absorb the traces of carbon in the water releasing the harmless smoke into the air.
