Description

The extrusion ram, also known as the extrusion shaft, is one of the most important extrusion tools transmits the pressure generated in the main cylinder of the extruder to the billet in the extrusion cylinder, causing the bille to plastically deform and flow out of the extrusion die hole to form an extrusion product. Plastic deformation occurs in the pressure cylinder, so it is under great pressure during extrusion. When extruding the pipe, if the design, selection and use of the extrusion ram are improper, it is easy to bend and deform, which becomes one of the main reasons for the eccentricity of the pipe. In addition, the extrusion ram may also produce end crushing, cracking and inclined slag fragmentation during operation.
