Description

Heat Shield technologies offers superior electric drop quench furnaces. These furnaces are highly energy-efficient, easy to operate, and ideal for a wide variety of applications including heat treatment of aluminium castings for automotive and aerospace industries. Our furnaces are compliant with AMS 2750 Standards and ensure utmost quality and precision. The system features a quenching tank that is placed on a motorized trolley and situated right under the furnace. The tank is equipped with an innovative heating technology that preheats the water to 600C. The hydraulic basket makes quenching easy and minimizes the quenching delay time to 15 seconds. Our specially designed agitators break the vapour layer formed during the process and make it more effective. Our drop quench furnaces are equipped with a PLC based SCADDA controlling with Level 2 automation. This system features a batch to batch data recording facility. All our furnaces are manufactured according to ASM International Standards using the highest-grade materials. The thermal calibration for our furnaces is done in line with API and Aviation standards.
