Description

Hindalco,Renukoot have two Tilting melting & holding cylindrical furnaces. It has been in use for Three decades (Established since 1990) without any major lining repairing job. Issues: (1) Internal lining situation have worsen to the extend that its capacity have been increased post cleaning during shutdown from designed 15MT to 17MT. Due to severe damage in bottom refractory lining, huge metal & dross has been solidified at its bottom. (2) Skin Temp is about 100-120˚C at various points due to poor quality of refractory or its deterioration with time which leads to high fuel consumption. We are looking for suitable experts for consultation.
