The Center of Expertise and Innovation on Aluminum is an initiative of aluquébec and its mandate is to disseminate knowledge on standards and alloys, relay good practices, and offer technical support to professionals in the aluminium industry. An industry with the aim of encouraging the use of aluminium, particularly in the sectors of transport equipment, infrastructure, works of art and building and sustainable construction.

In 2020, the Alcoa Innovation team was integrated into that of ceial. The combined service offer makes Ceial a point of reference in terms of technical expertise for the entire aluminium processing industry in Quebec, in collaboration with the other organisations in the network.
