Established in 1981 through the collaboration of the governments of Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, GARMCO was the first fully dedicated downstream aluminium facility in the Middle East. Since its inception, the company has been a regional leader in rolling, cutting, and fabricating aluminium.

With an annual production capacity exceeding 165,000 tonnes, GARMCO stands as one of the largest manufacturers of high-quality flat rolled aluminium products in the region. Headquartered in Bahrain, the company has evolved into a truly global organization, with an international footprint that includes offices in Australia, Europe, Singapore, Thailand, the USA, and Vietnam. GARMCO employs over 600 people worldwide and generates an annual turnover of more than USD 450 million.

GARMCO’s advanced manufacturing is rooted in the Direct Chill (DC) Casting method, enabling the production of premium aluminium alloys, sheets, and coils in diverse sizes, gauges, and tempers.
