Founded in April 1994, Novatec began its journey by introducing advanced infrared heating technology to a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, medical, powder coating, plastics, wood, heat treating and waste disposal. Their early focus was on western North America, but our innovation quickly gained global traction.

In 1996, they identified a game-changing opportunity in the aluminum extrusion sector. By applying their pioneering infrared die heating technology, Novatec transformed the die preheating process for extruders. Their solutions enabled faster, more uniform heating, resulting in higher production efficiency, reduced energy consumption, enhanced profile finishes, and a significant reduction in scrap — all contributing to improved profitability for their clients.

Today, Novatec continues to lead the field in infrared oven technology through continuous R&D and innovation. Our custom-built ovens, advanced control panels and HMI touchscreen interfaces offer unmatched performance, flexibility and user experience. In 2018, they proudly introduced the Generation 7 Infrared Die Ovens, delivering heat-up times up to 35% faster than competing infrared systems and four times quicker than traditional convection ovens.
