Description

Scot Ca remover is a sodium free flux that can be used for all aluminium alloys for removal of alkaline elements like Ca, Na, Mg, Zn, etc. It is also used for degassing, covering and drossing of molten aluminium. It also form a protective coating to avoid oxidation. Scot Ca remover is also used for removing hydrogen from the melt.

Uses:

1. Removal of sodium and calcium along with other alkali metals 
2. Avoids Oxidation 
3. Removal of Hydrogen from the melt
4. Covering and drossing flux
5. Economical method Instructions for use: Scot Ca Remover flux should be added to the melt at the temperature of 690-750 Degree Celsius. The recommended application rate should be 0.2 to 0.3% of the melt size. Rebel the melt and remove the dross from the top of molten metal. This flux can also be added through Scot Flux injection machine for better results.
